1. Company & Acceptance of Terms

Your Pets historY ("the App," "Service," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Your Pets historY LLC, a Florida limited liability company registered with the Florida Division of Corporations (Sunbiz). By downloading, installing, creating an account, or otherwise using the App, you ("User," "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Your Pets historY LLC. Use of this App also constitutes agreement to our Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines or policies posted within the App.

2. Description of Service

Your Pets historY is a pet health record management platform that allows users to store, organize, and access their pets' veterinary records. The App uses artificial intelligence technology to extract, categorize, and summarize record data from uploaded documents and forwarded emails.

THE APP DOES NOT PROVIDE VETERINARY MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT. ALL AI-GENERATED SUMMARIES ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND MAY CONTAIN ERRORS. ALWAYS CONSULT A LICENSED VETERINARIAN FOR YOUR PET'S HEALTH CONCERNS.

The App also provides document synthesis services labeled "Administrative Document Synthesis" to help users organize and compile health records for informational and insurance-claim assistance purposes. This is not a clinical, medical, or financial advisory service.

3. Eligibility & User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use paid features.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately at support@yourpetshistory.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Each account is for individual use only. Sharing accounts or credentials is prohibited.

4. Mandatory Consent Gate — First Upload

Before uploading any documents, receipts, or veterinary records for the first time, you will be required to affirmatively click an "I Agree" acknowledgment confirming: "I consent to the processing of these documents by Your Pets historY LLC for administrative record synthesis. I understand this is not a clinical service and does not constitute medical advice." This click-wrap consent is recorded and constitutes a binding agreement.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Administrative Document Synthesis Fees

• Paid features require an active subscription. Subscription pricing is displayed on the Subscribe page.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
• All Stripe payment sessions for document processing are labeled "Administrative Document Synthesis".
• You may cancel at any time via My Account or through Apple App Store / Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are subject to Apple App Store or Google Play refund policies when purchased through those platforms, and Stripe's refund policies when purchased via web.
• We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Mobile Platform Compliance

• Apple App Store (iOS): Subscriptions purchased on iOS devices are managed exclusively through Apple's In-App Purchase system in compliance with Apple's guidelines. Direct payment buttons are removed from the iOS interface. Subscription management is performed via the App Store.
• Google Play (Android): Subscriptions on Android may be managed via Google Play or the web portal at yourpetshistory.com.
• Demo / Reviewer Mode: Apple App Store and Google Play reviewers are provided a Demo Mode account that bypasses live payment requirements for testing. Demo accounts have full Pro-level access without a Stripe transaction.

7. Medical Disclaimer

Your Pets historY LLC is a technology company, not a veterinary practice or licensed healthcare provider. Nothing in this App — including but not limited to AI-generated summaries, extracted lab values, trend charts, or record compilations — constitutes veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a formal patient-provider relationship. The App provides data synthesis for informational purposes only.

8. User Content & Data Rights

You retain full ownership of all records, documents, and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant Your Pets historY LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, display, and store it solely to provide you the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload any documents (e.g., veterinary records for a pet you own or are legally responsible for).

9. Data Security, Encryption & PCI Redaction

• All uploaded files are stored with AES-256 encryption at rest. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS 1.2 or higher.
• Row-Level Security (RLS) is enforced: users can only access, modify, or delete data they created. Admins have read-only access for support purposes.
• Our AI processing pipeline is configured to immediately discard and never store full credit card numbers (Primary Account Numbers / PAN), debit card numbers, or CVV codes encountered during document extraction. Partial masked numbers (e.g., "XXXX-1234") may be retained solely as invoice identifiers.
• An immutable audit log records timestamp, user ID, and action (Create/Read/Update/Delete) for all interactions with health records and receipts. Users cannot edit or delete their own audit history.

10. Automated Processing & AI Disclosure

The App uses AI and automated systems to read uploaded veterinary documents, extract structured health data, and generate plain-language summaries. This is a convenience feature. Users should verify AI-extracted information against original documents. We are not liable for errors in automated extraction. Data submitted for AI processing is used solely to provide the Service and is never used to train external AI models.

11. Prohibited Use

• You may not use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, hack, or disrupt the Service.
• You may not upload content that violates third-party privacy rights or intellectual property.
• You may not attempt to circumvent access controls, payment systems, or security measures.
• You may not use the App to submit fraudulent insurance claims.

12. Termination & Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time via My Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all associated pet health data, uploaded files, and personal data are permanently erased. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOUR PETS HISTORY LLC, ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $50.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Your Pets historY LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida. You consent to personal jurisdiction in Florida for such purposes.

16. Changes to Terms

Your Pets historY LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The current effective date is displayed at the top of this page.
